I still believe photography is truly an art form despite the never ending changes in technology (especially in the digital end of photography).  I believe the person behind the camera must have the right eye and artistry to convey a story with pictures, whether it is recorded by film or digital capture.

     I approach all of my weddings, portraits and everything in between much differently than most.  I am an observer, a voyeur if you will, who documents the way I see them, not how I make them.  I accomplish this in an extremely unobtrusive way, finding that to be the most effective way to obtain natural and unique photographs that my clients and I seek and enjoy.

     We are enjoying the transition from film to digital and you can rest assured that our equipment is up to date and backed up with additional equipment.  We always have an abundance of flash cards and batteries to ensure a smooth flow throughout the day.  I never stop looking for photographs and never have a set number of images to shoot.  I work closely with my clients during at least one in-person consultation and with several phone calls and e-mails in between.  This guarantees they will never ask themselves, “I wonder if the photographer got a shot of……" and so on.

     My goal and passion is to create photographs that are unique, timeless and unlike anyone else's you have seen.  I am able to achieve this, wedding after wedding, by supplying a combination of color and black-and-white images and by employing many unique photographic techniques.  This approach has been equally successful for me with portraits and with other photography assignments.
